Diane has worked in the field of education for the past 10 years, working with students from elementary to college. Growing up in an underserved community with minimal academic resources, Diane is dedicated to helping students pursue higher education. Prior to joining PIQE, Diane served as the Director of College Access Programs at Fulfillment Fund, overseeing the department’s college counseling and curriculum efforts. While at Fulfillment Fund, Diane worked with students across Los Angeles County providing intensive college counseling support to high school juniors and seniors, facilitated parent and student financial aid workshops, and was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with school partners. Diane also worked as a College and Career Advisor with the nonprofit organization, Youth Policy Institute. As a College and Career Advisor, she educated high school students on college requirements, held student intervention sessions, and facilitated family workshops on high school and college requirements.

Diane earned her B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She continued her studies at Pepperdine University where she earned her M.A. in Educational Psychology.
