April 22nd is Earth Day! According to earthday.org, one billion people in more than 193 countries celebrate the beauty of Mother Earth. This year the official theme is “Invest in Our Planet.”
This celebration is an opportunity to raise awareness and advocate for change around the most pressing issues of our planet. By uniting our voice and actions to those of millions of others around the world we will be able to create an impact.
The environmental crisis we are facing is putting people and communities at risk. Our younger generations are inheriting the massive and unprecedented problem of climate change; it is time we adopted bold and innovative solutions that can help stop and reverse the damage that has been done.
Earthday.org offers toolkits for all: Sustainable Business, The Great Global Cleanup, Climate Literacy, Higher Education, Plastic Pollution, to name a few. Click here to find the one that best suits your goals.
