Looking to stay up to date on the latest COVID-19 guidelines for your students?
After Friday, March 11, 2022, universal indoor masking in K-12 school California settings will change from a requirement to a strong recommendation by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). You can find recommendations for indoor masking in K-12 schools shared by the CDPH here.
Some schools may still choose to require masking, depending on the health needs of their students, educators and staff. To avoid confusion about mask requirements, make sure to check in with your school district first. You can find your school district through this link from the California Department of Education.
