Justine Hoke | Director of Curriculum
Justine Hoke, Director of Curriculum at PIQE, holds a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Maryland. Justine is responsible for providing leadership and vision in the planning, implementation, development, and direction of curriculum for PIQE’s programs. Her team works with the Director of National Partnerships to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials for national partnership initiatives. She also works with the Director of Training and Quality Assurance to improve the effectiveness of training internally and externally.
Justine was born and raised in Maryland where she went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and taught in the county she grew up in. She transitioned from a classroom teacher to a curriculum developer and edtech coach when she moved to California, specializing in coding and computer science education for pre-K to 8th graders. As Senior Manager for Learning and Curriculum Design at a children’s coding app, she led education outreach and resource creation. Committed to educational empowerment, she’s excited to continue contributing to PIQE’s mission of helping students and families, not only in California, but nationally.
