We are excited to announce that the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) has been awarded a $90K grant from the Marin Community Foundation’s Buck Family Fund. This award will allow us to continue providing our Signature Family Engagement in Education workshop in Marin County in the coming school year (2022-2023) at Terra Linda High, Novato High, San Rafael High, and San Jose Middle School.
A high percentage of parents of English-language learners in this region have limited digital skills and access to technology. It is through these school partnerships that we plan to provide enhanced support so that parents can actively engage in their children’s educational path to post-secondary education. We do this in collaboration with Marin Promise Partnership (MPP) and the College of Marin Providing Access and Supporting Success (COMPASS).
We are grateful to the Marin Community Foundation for its support in cultivating leadership skills in their local community. Moreover, this generous award will support us in our continued mission of providing families with the knowledge and skills they need to partner with schools and communities to ensure their children achieve their full potential.
