Did you hear?
PIQE is out in the community, intently building out our network and creating new partnerships that support and uplift the voices of our families. With our ear to the ground, we are hearing about the challenges our families are facing TODAY and we are taking ACTION.
“We want to be allies to move our community forward.”
Parent Leader from South-west Fresno.
In partnership with The Children’s Movement- Fresno, we attend their TCM Action Forums -a place where PIQE convenes with cross-sector stakeholders to learn from experts and others, while building a shared vision and keeping our work connected. At the recent Action Forum, we had intense conversations with community-based organizations, city and state officials, and parent leaders. Together we strategized next steps to support our families and community.
PIQE involves stakeholders from various systems that support families and communities while ensuring that we are family/community centered, and equity focused. Through strategic initiatives and partnerships, we are enhancing the support offered to our families in the Merced/Stanislaus County, by collaborating with organizations and stakeholders who are eager and motivated. PIQE is set to meet later this month with several organization to discuss the issues our families are facing and how we can design a space for us to discover new methods to create sustainable communities.
